Zircon – Astore, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan

 A brownish-red, sharp-edged zircon, approximately 0.3 cm high, set on a matrix. The highly lustrous zircon contrasts beautifully with the white matrix. A very aesthetically pleasing collector's specimen with an unusually large crystal of the highest quality. The zircons appear intensely yellow under black light!
