Strikingly aesthetic and flawless scepter quartz specimen from the Rauris valley. This piece convinces with perfect lustre and clarity. On some matrix, the long-prismatic quartzes form a star-shaped buil up, with the crystals getting larger towards the top.

The Rauris is known for its diverse rock crystal finds. Almost all deposits are in the core zone of the Hohe Tauern National Park. For several years, collecting minerals here has only been possible with a special permit. Because of this, minerals from the Rauris are rarely offered. The rock crystal comes from the collection of Josef Kolb, who has been regularly searching for minerals there since the 1970s.
