Tourmaline slice "Watermelon"  – Minas Gerais, Brazil
 
Particularly colorful tourmaline disc. The dark green edge of the tourmaline turns sharply into a light pink, which then changes to an intense pink and in the center changes to a slightly lighter, but equally intense pink-purple tone. 
Wonderful play of colors!
