Tourmaline Var. Elbaite, Lepidolite – Urubu Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil

 Bicoloured elbaite with quartz double-terminated crystals from the Urubu mine in Brazil.
 The tourmaline is intensely pink and overgrown with a green "mantle." The beautiful piece is adorned with double-terminated quartz crystals into which smaller green tourmalines have grown.
 An aesthetically pleasing and unique collector's item.
