 Contrasting color changes of green prisms and intense red termination on this 6 cm high tourmaline crystal from the Pamir Mountains in Russia. In transmitted light, the tourmaline appears almost yellow. 
 The double terminated quartz has a recrystallized negative imprint in the lower area. A interesting and aesthetic piece with good lustre.
