Tourmaline – Stak Nala, Haramosh Mts., Skardu District, Baltistan, Northern Areas, Pakistan
This is a wonderfully aesthetic showcase specimen from Pakistan's most famous tourmaline locality.
The colorful tourmaline originates from a discovery in the early 1990s, when Stak Nala produced some of its most remarkable finds. The tourmaline, in various shades of green, sits at the center of a cleavelandite "rose." The finely tabular, snow-white cleavelandite crystals provide a perfect backdrop for the sharp-edged tourmaline.
A picture-perfect tourmaline specimen from Pakistan!
