Particularly colorful and very lustrous grape chalcedony, grown as a floater specimen. The piece stands out among others of its kind for its perfect quality, color and luster. The shape is reminiscent of butterfly wings.
A rare (and therefore sought after by collectors) spherical form of chalcedony. The chalcedony is found in the Mamuju (Manakarra) area in the West Sulawesi (Celebes) province in Indonesia. The chalcedony is traded under the names “grape chalcedony” or “grape agate”, but also manakarra stone.
