Titanite, Adularia – Piz Miez, Lukmanier, Graubünden, Switzerland
 A historic cabinet specimen from Piz Miez near St. Mari on the Lukmanier Pass. In addition to the beautifully crystallized adularites, the specimen is particularly impressive for its numerous perfect titanite crystals. The sphene/titanite twins, up to 6 mm in size, are highly lustrous, sharp-edged, and of wonderfully intense color.
 This special alpine collection piece was acquired in 1967 by P. Pichler in Vienna from the collection of Anton Berger.
