Sturmanite – N'Chwaning Mines, Hotazell, Kuruman, Kalahari manganese fields, Northern Cape Province, South Africa

Numerous sturmanite crystals of up to 11 mm in size with a wonderful luster and an intense yellow-orange color are beautifully distributed on this matrix step. All crystals of this rare sulfate mineral are undamaged and have a shimmering color and excellent transparency for this mineral!
Very nice example of this very rare classic from the 1980s.
