Spinel on marble – Mogok, Mandalay, Myanmar
 Particularly clear and intensely colored spinels on matrix. The raspberry-colored and sometimes highly transparent spinels contrasted strikingly with the snow-white marble matrix.
 Under artificial UV light (especially long wave), the gemstone-like crystals shine in an intense red.
