Smithsonite Var. Cobaltian – Tsumeb Mine, Otavi Mountains, Namibia
 A particularly richly colored smithsonite specimen from the now-extinct Tsumeb Mine. The wonderfully lustrous, cobalt-bearing smithsonite crystals reach a remarkable size of 2 cm. The intense pink color contrasts beautifully with the matrix.
 Smithsonite tuffs with such large crystals are rare!
