Smithsonite var. Cobaltian - Tsumeb Mine, Otavi Highlands, Oshikoto, Namibia
 
 Perfect matrix specimen of pristine Smithsonite up to 14mm in length, partially double terminated. The transparent crystals have a lustrous surface and the pink color characteristic of cobaltine. It is particularly rare that smithsonite crystals are so aesthetically free standing and can be viewed in all their glory. Wonderful and unique collector's piece from the famous Tsumeb mine.
