Serpierite – Hilarion Mine, Kamariza, Lavrion (Laurion), Greece

 Radiating, tabular serpierite crystals in intense color.
 Lead and silver ores were mined in the Lavrion mining area south of Athens as early as 5,000 years ago. Today, the mines are closed to the public.
