Selenite – Naica Mine, Saucillo, Chihuahua, Mexico
 
Textbook-like, well terminated and transparent double terminated selenite from the famous Naica Mine. The water-clear crystal dates from the 1970s. It is an excellent collector's item. The contact point with a little matrix gives the piece a graphic balance and makes the 12.5 cm crystal look better. Now that the Naica Mine is closed, these better crystals are becoming treasures and are difficult to acquire.
