Scheelite – Xuebaoding, Pingwu, Sichuan, China

 Scheelite crystal with a particularly intense reddish color and great luster. The sharp-edged scheelite impresses with its size, wonderfully intense reddish-orange color and good transparency!
This impressive crystal comes from the Xuebaoding Mine, which is now closed because the site is now part of the national park. Therefore, no new findings from this mine are possible and it is no longer available on the market.
 Scheelites in this intense color are rarer than the yellowish ones and are very popular with collectors.
