Scheelite - Xuebaoding, Pingwu, Sichuan, China
 
Large scheelite with a particular intense color and great luster. Depending on the incidence of light, this impressive piece appears from orange-red to dark red-brown. This impressive crystal comes from the Xuebaoding mine, which is now closed because the site is now in the national park. Thus, no new finds from this mine are possible and on the market no longer available. Scheelite  in this size and quality are very popular with collectors.
