Safflorite – Mackenheim quarry, Odenwald, Hesse, Germany

 A richly populated stage from the Odenwald!
 Safflorite is a relatively rare mineral from the mineral class of "sulfides and sulfosalts" with the chemical composition CoAs₂, and thus chemically a cobalt arsenide. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic crystal system.
 A good version of a German classic!
