Needle-like yellow-orange Rutile aggregates partly showing Sagenite formation, up to 1 cm long, with clear Adularia and Muscovite on aplitic granite matrix. A pretty miniature specimen from the Cava Lombardi, the oldest and most famous Iron Rose site in the Alps. Recovered in August 2018 from an Adularia pocket within the hanging-wall section of the basal vein, ex Stefan Weiß collection (photo in LAPIS 2/2020, p. 35)
