Rhodochrosite / Raspberry Spar – Wolf Pit, Hersdorf, Siegerland, Germany
 
Rhodochrosites from the Wolf mine are named as the best rhodochrosites in Europe and also stand out positively in international comparison. The collection piece offered here impresses with its particularly intense colors and aesthetic build up. All dominant crystals are in very good condition! The “raspberries from Germany” stand out from the black limonite matrix in a wonderfully rich contrast. The crystals, up to 7 mm long, have a very beautiful luster. 
Good specimens from the Wolf mine have now experienced a significant increase in value due to the lack of prospects for new finds.
