Smoky quartz – Furka, Uri, Switzerland

A sharp-edged and wonderfully transparent double-terminated smoky quartz, associated with other crystals, found on some matrix from the Furka region in the Swiss canton of Uri. Although not further specified, it is very likely that the specimen was found at the Tiefengletscher glacier.

The crystals have a particularly intense color, which makes these quartz crystals highly sought-after collector's items.

This exceptionally brilliant specimen comes from the Italian quartz collection of Paolo Martinotti. His collection is documented in a 450-page book, which includes this aesthetically pleasing piece on page 224. The book is included in the price and will be delivered with the specimen.

A particularly aesthetic and high-quality smoky quartz specimen.
