 A rare smoky quartz from the area around Idar-Oberstein!
 A magnificent smoky quartz cluster, over 10 cm in size, with a light violet hue. The cluster of hundreds of crystals sat within a deeply etched, rust-brown agate sphere, which released its wonderful contents when cracked. This specimen comes from the Baumholder quarry.
