Smoky quartz (Morion) in normal habit with transitional forms - 
Oberblatthorn, Blausee, Binntal, Valais, Switzerland
 
Beautiful water-clear, slender crystal, with intense reddish-brown colour and high brilliance! The locality "Blausee" yielded the best Morion crystals of western Switzerland during the 1990s (cf. LAPIS 2/2003). Found in August 1997, ex Stefan Weiß collection
