Quartz - Mount Ida, Arkansas, USA
 
 Highly aesthetic quartz floater specimen from Arkansas with the special quality characteristic for the locality. The crystals are mostly double terminated and partly in the Dauphine habitus. A few tips have minor quirks, otherwise the cluster that is all around crystallized is unharmed. Thanks to the special build up and the wonderful quality of the quartz this is a special collector's piece. Historical specimen from the Josef Kolb collection.
