Quartz, hematite – Aouli, Mibladen, Morocco

 You're probably familiar with the beautiful red quartz from Morocco, which gets its red color from hematite. Here's a specimen from the same area, but with a much lower hematite concentration. This has resulted in a wonderful pink color on the quartz crystals of this fantastic hand specimen!
