Pyrite – Ambasaguas (Ambas Aguas), Muro de Aguas, La Rioja

 A particularly beautiful and interestingly formed crystal. Its surface structure and inwardly curved faces make it absolutely unique. The crystal has a good luster and a golden-yellow color.
 Just as the Navajun deposit is known for its sharp-edged cubes, the Ambasaguas deposit is known for its remarkable diversity of forms. Almost all forms of pyrite can be found here.
 Characteristic of this find site are its high luster and intense golden color.
 We were fortunate enough to acquire wonderful pieces from a Spanish collector who has amassed exceptionally good crystals in a wide variety of forms over many years.
