Pyrite in black slate - 
Alpe Ramosa, Lumnezia, Grisons, Switzerland
 
Attractive cabinet piece with unusually large platy, centrally seated crystal (2.2 cm on edge, intact except for a small chip). The Ramosa alp is considered the best alpine locality for fresh, unweathered Pyrite crystals (cf. LAPIS 6/2019). Found in September 2019 on the south ridge of Piz da Vrin, with collection label by Stefan Weiß
