Pyrite in black slate - 
Alpe Ramosa, Lumnezia, Grisons, Switzerland
 
Flat-distorted Pyrite cubes (up to max. 2 cm) in satiny and particularly intensely folded slate matrix. An interesting and attractive piece! The Ramosa alp is considered the best alpine locality for fresh, unweathered Pyrite crystals (cf. LAPIS 6/2019). Found in 2006 on the south ridge of Piz da Vrin
