Phantom quartz – Piz Regina, Graubünden, Switzerland
 Formerly part of the Paolo Martinotti Collection

 The beautiful, fully crystallized floating hand specimen from Piz Regina is dominated by a water-clear rock crystal in which clearly formed phantoms are visible. The other crystals also feature these characteristic gray phantoms. The phantoms are darkened by gneiss inclusions and are therefore particularly visible due to the crystal's perfect transparency.
 This exceptional specimen comes from the Italian quartz collection of Paolo Martinotti. His collection is documented in a 450-page book, which includes this aesthetically pleasing piece on page 217. The book is included in the price and will be delivered with the specimen.
