Monazite forming perfect and sharply edged, honey-brown crystals (up to 4 mm) resembling titanite (sphene), grown with dark green Chamosite and tiny Rock Crystals on gneiss matrix. Excellent specimen from a large old Rock Crystal vein, its hanging-wall yielding the largest and best Monazite crystals of the Ticino region (cf. LAPIS 1/2018). Found in August 2020, ex Stefan Weiß collection
