 Cluster of partly free-standing, partly intergrown manganite crystals with clearly defined terminations. Grown through with barite (not calcite, as mentioned on the old label) creates a good contrast to the lustrous metallic black manganite on this aesthetic specimen from Ilfeld in Thuringia.
 Very good historical collector's piece from the world's best locality for this mineral.
