Malachite ps. to Azurit – Tsumeb, Namibia

 Impressive azurite crystal, completely transformed into malachite, with a remarkable length of 8.9 cm. The silky matt crystal shows the typical azurite shape and an intense malachite green in various shades. In some places, impressions of what is probably dolomite have grown negatively into the crystal. These zones are white and highlight stands out so beautifully and clearly from the malachite.
