Malachite, Cerussite, Bayldonite – Tsumeb Mine, Otavi Mountains, Oshikoto, Namibia
Private collection A. Berger
Handwritten original label from his personal collection before 1929 (his labels were typed from 1929 onwards)
A wonderfully formed paragenesis of several classic Tsumeb minerals! This colorful collection combines lustrous malachite pseudomorphs after azurite with transparent cerussites, smaller royal blue azurites, and the rare mineral bayldonite.
A mineralogically interesting and historical collector's piece in intense, various shades of green.
This special collection comes from the personal private collection of the famous Austrian mineral dealer and collector Anton Berger.
