Malachite, Azurite, Cyanotrichite – Lavrion (Laurion), Greece

 A wondrous classic from the famous Greek archaeological site. Lead and silver ores were mined in the Lavrion mining area south of Athens as early as 5,000 years ago. Today, the tunnels are closed to the public.
