Exceptional specimen of pseudo-hexagonal crystals of the magnesite variety Pistomesite.
The 2.1 cm thick tabular magnesite crystal  is seated on a matrix of microcrystalline magnesite with coarse-grained white gypsum.
Good specimens with free-standing and well-crystallized crystals are quite rare to find on the market.
