Luanheit with Eugenite - Privolnoye District, Central Yakutia, Russia

Named after the Luanhe River in China, luanite is an amalgam, i.e., a compound of silver and mercury (Ag3Hg). Additionally, according to an expert opinion by Professor N. Rudashevsky, eugenite (Ag11Hg2), named after Eugen Friedrich Stumpfl, a professor of mineralogy, is present on the specimen.
