 A highly contrasting crocodile specimen with wonderfully lustrous and intensely colored crystals. Both the front and back are covered with numerous small crocodile needles.
 Crocoite crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system and develops partly very diverse, but mostly long, prismatic to needle-shaped crystals.
