Crocoite – Adelaide Mine, Zeehan, Tasmania, Australia
 A richly studded crocoite specimen with magnificently lustrous and wonderfully colorful crystals over 20 mm long and up to 8 mm wide. The unbroken crystals are, as is typical of crocoite, unfinished and partially hollow.
 Crocoite crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system and develops partly very diverse, but mostly long, prismatic to needle-shaped crystals.
 Beautiful, color-intensive and high-contrast collection piece of this Australian classic.
