Corundum pseudomorph  after spinel  – Mahenge, Morogroro, Tanzania
 
 In a very interesting new find from September  In 2021, corundum pseudomorphic to spinel was discovered in Tanzania and presented at the Tucson Gem Show 2022. This 2.2 cm crystal shows the milky pink color resulting from the transformation . A mineralogical rarity with good aesthetics.
