Tourmaline, Quartz – Mawi Pegmatite, Nuristan, Afghanistan

 The tricolored tourmalines stand out aesthetically against the crystalline feldspar matrix. These wonderfully transparent tourmalines are dark green at the base, transitioning to a pastel green in the middle, then to water-clear, before the end face displays a delicate pink hue.
