 Garnet crystals up to 9 mm in size with perfect luster and transparency on matrix from the Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Canada. The hessonite exhibits a yellowish hue in artificial light and a reddish hue in daylight (see videos).
 Finds from the Jeffrey Mine are no longer possible today because the mine has been reclaimed. This makes this a rare, historic, and sought-after collector's item.
