A fantastic piece of colorful quartz var. amethyst with hematite inclusions from the famous Thunder Bay District, Ontario, Canada. The amethysts  are crystallized perfectly and razor sharp. They are transparent and of the best rich purple color. Inside there are beautiful, spherical hematite inclusions with a magnificent wine red color. The luster of this specimen is breathtaking. 
What is particularly noteworthy is the flawless condition of the crystals. They are absolutely flawless. Since the amethysts grow in narrow spaces and are partly interlocked, it is very rare to find undamaged specimens from this classic site.
A real classic in very good quality.
