Granular pink Clinozoisite (2 cm wide), interlayered with white Nepheline/Albite matrix. The colour is due to Mn(III)-content (cf. extraLapis No.55, 2019, S. 94). This pegmatitic mineral association of manganese-bearing Clinozoisite and Nepheline is not only a Swiss rarity, but also unique worldwide! Recovered in May 2017 from nepheline pegmatite #3 in Val Boschetto, on the northern flank of Gridone. EDX/XRD analyzed sample
