Hematite with golden rutile   - Furka Pass, Uri, Switzerland
 
Fine-leaved Iron Rose with golden Rutil, which is rather rare in the alpine area. The hematite has a strong metallic luster. Pieces like this are extremely rare and nearly impossible to find in the mineral market. What is special about this piece is the ingrown rock crystal.
The piece comes from the unique discovery at the Furka Pass in the border area between Uri and Valais.
