Hematite (iron rose) with rutile – Cava Lombardi, Passo Lucendro, Gotthard, Ticino, Switzerland

 An aesthetic example of this alpine classic in the highest quality. The high-gloss iron rose sits very representatively on the matrix and is accompanied by smaller iron roses. Rutile needles have grown between the 'leaves' of the hematite iron rose.
