Lustrous foliated Hematite Iron Roses (up to 1.4 cm), partly rimmed with copper-red Rutile needles, on Muscovite-bearing granite breccia. A very nice and locally typical specimen from Cava Lombardi, the oldest and most famous Iron Rose site in the Alps (cf. LAPIS 2/2020, p. 30-35, photo of this piece on p. 35). Recovered in August 2018 from the roof portion of the basal vein, ex Stefan Weiß collection
