Wonderful brown-reddish almandine crystal contrasting on light matrix from the Ahrntal in South Tyrol. Although detached from the matrix, the crystal is wedged in the matrix. No glue!
Most pieces are glued to fix the crystal on the specimen. Good unrepaired specimens with intense color are hard to find on the market!
