Gorceixite and Pyrite on Fluorite -

Black-brown iron-rich Gorceixite* with Pyrite cubes on bluish to purple Fluorite, with little Chalcopyrite and milky Quartz (*Fe3+-rich, analyzed with EDX+XRD). Found in February 1981 on the 15th level of the South Lode (cf. extraLapis No.57, 2019, p.89). The richest occurrence of the rare barium/aluminium phosphate in Cornwall!
