 A richly occupied  specimen of Microcrystal Gold.  A special type of absolutely authentic crystal aggregate on a drusy quartz matrix  from historic Rosia Montana, Romania. Some gold crystals are lustrous gold while others are a rich, soft yellow. A nice contrast for a mine that was already being operated by the ancient Romans.
