Native Gold – Millwood, Cape Colony, South Africa
 Millwood, South Africa, was the scene of a short-lived gold rush in the 1880s. Located in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains near Knysna, the Millwood Mining Village had a population of a few hundred at the height of its small-scale mining activity, which lasted only five years.
 Collections from this region are extremely rare because the little gold that was found was melted down.
