 Top grade! Glossy black, magnetic Franklinite octahedrons with a remarkable 2.7 cm edge length in a white calcite matrix.
 The undamaged main crystal has partially rounded edges, as is characteristic for these stages.
 Franklin is the type locality and the world's richest deposit of this zinc spinel. The manganese-containing calcite matrix exhibits a fiery red fluorescence under short-wave UV light.
